This pristine forest has inspired our Maine writer, Mrs. Willey of Cherryfield, Maine, to write this cute children's story about Bailey, a Balsam Fir, and the Veterans' Remembrance Trees of the Balsam Valley. 

This is a story to teach children about what the Veterans' Remembrance Trees are all about. 

Mrs. Willey was a teacher for many years and has written many children's books. Now, at the age of 92 this is her first book to have in print. We hope you will enjoy Bailey.
